I loved making the Boxy Jacket, and the expansion pack makes it even better. It was so simple to swap the collar for a hood, and it completely changed the look of the jacket. There are parts which are more complex then others and and I’m still working my way through all the different features, but it genuinely feels like having a whole catalogue of jacket designs in one pattern. Every combination gives you something completely different, so it keeps every project feeling fresh and exciting. Such a clever idea! Thank you for the boxy jacket pattern!

I think I’m addicted to this pattern because I’ve already made 4 jackets (+ a sweater) from it and I love all of them! The style is very flattering and comfortable, and I get compliments on them any time I wear them out.
The pattern itself is well laid out and the accompanying video tutorials were very helpful. The only issue I had with the pattern is that the front panel piece was more narrow than the front bodice and placket pieces when I went to sew them together. I think is because the placket piece isn’t taken into consideration as additional width needed for the panel piece, but it wasn’t too hard to trim the bodice piece down a little on the side to make everything align correctly. I’m not sure if this was an error on my part when assembling the pattern, but I figured I would mention it just in case.
Overall, I am very happy with this pattern and I look forward to trying out more Lost Fabric patterns!
