Made from a vibrant vintage beach towel in royal blue and lime green, this one-of-a-kind blouse has been reworked into an easy, oversized layer that’s perfect for throwing on after a day at the beach.
The body is made from the original towel, finished with cropped navy cotton corduroy sleeves, a matching collar, placket and chest pocket. Vintage-style lime green buttons run down the front, adding a playful pop of colour that ties the whole piece together.
Designed with a relaxed oversized fit, dropped shoulders and a single chest pocket, this blouse keeps the original towel fringe at the hem for a fun nod to its previous life.
Please note: This is a sample garment. The button fastening is fully functional, but the buttons are slightly stiff to fasten because the sample placket is quite thick.

Please note, all my creations are lovingly handmade by myself. I use a combination of my sewing machine and hand stitching to make each and every garment unique. You may notice they look a little different to regular, industrially made clothing and some stitching may not be perfectly straight! The materials I use are usually vintage and reclaimed, so please be aware that there are areas with imperfections.
