Made using a beautiful vintage wool throw from Ukraine, this jacket has a warm, natural feel and features unique geometric patterns with interesting motifs. Although there was no original label, these blankets are traditionally woven from sheep’s wool and dyed using natural pigments extracted from local trees and plants – creating a rich, earthy palette.

A section of the top portion is lined on the outside with a beautiful vintage cotton fruit-print fabric, and the border is trimmed with a contrasting green cotton frill.

The jacket has two large front pockets with some extra frill detail for added charm. The sleeves are tapered in at the cuffs which give a flattering, slightly ‘puffed’ appearance. Black snap buttons fasten the jacket all the way up to the standing collar, which is lined with forest green sherpa fabric. The raw edges are finished with classic black-and-white striped bias binding for a little extra pop!

Please note, all my creations are lovingly handmade by myself. I use a combination of sewing machine and hand stitching to make each and every garment unique. You may notice they look a little different to the regular, industrially made clothing and some stitching may not be perfectly straight! The materials I use are usually vintage and reclaimed, so please be aware that there may be areas with imperfections that have been reworked and fixed.
